    The Paul Hogarth Company

The Paul Hogarth Company was responsible for producing a Masterplan for the international leisure and recreational facility at the Highland Showground in Edinburgh. This included events spaces for equestrian and agricultural activities and areas for huge numbers of spectators.

This was a complex project requiring technical issues associated with access and circulation for large numbers of people to be balanced with the creation of high quality environments in which the events could take place and where the requirements of the animals were understood.

The Practice was responsible for the design and delivery of a number of phases including the countryside area where a large water feature was created as the centre-piece for an area where hunting and other countryside sports/activities were staged.
