The Paul Hogarth Company, in collaboration with architects Ostick + Williams, was appointed to prepare a Masterplan for substantial landholdings along the Saqqez River. This masterplan provides the opportunity for local people and visitors alike to protect, access, enjoy and learn from this natural asset which exists on their doorstep. Proposals include a mix of uses ranging from office and residential space to hotel and leisure accommodation. A range of indoor sports and leisure developments, including swimming pools, ice rink andcinemas, are catered for within this waterside landscape.
Access to the river is also greatly improved to enable a range of active and passive recreational pursuits.
