The industrial building when complete will span over 5200m². It comprises of an animal intake area, cattle & sheep pens, emergency slaughterhouse facility, beef slaughter room, sheep slaughter room, carcase room, green offal room, tripe processing room, 2 levels of offices, changing rooms & hygiene facilities, laboratory, canteen, boiler house, incinerator, blood drying unit, storage chill and despatch area.

The overall site also encompasses a water treatment plant, truck washing facility, guard-room building, water storage and a generator farm.
Worked closely with a multi-national design team including GM Steel Fabrications, the main equipment designer/supplier and Tronix Limited, the Project Managers.

Significant services designed included provision for compressed air, high pressure wash system, back-up generator provision and mains incoming transformer.

All services were designed to comply with food grade standards, IP resistance to water and dust, resistance to cleaning chemical and suitability for operation in low internal temperature and high external temperatures.

Full design of M&E services provide with off site support during construction phase.
