The Paul Hogarth Company advised Government in relation to the regeneration options for the former Harland & Wolff Shipyard in Belfast. The Practice was then appointed as part of a Team of consultants to develop a Masterplan for the 75Ha area.
Proposals included homes for over 30,000 people, offices, hotels, shops, schools and healthcare facilities. At its heart was a network of visitor attractions relating to the world famous ships, such the RMS Titanic which was built there.
Since completing the Masterplan, with an anticipated construction value of £3 billion, The Paul Hogarth Company has designed and administered construction of the early phases of public realm, totalling £15 million, relative to development with a value to date of approximately £300 million. There is a strong emphasis on the landscape infrastructure within the development as a whole and these initial phases are required to set high standards.
