Fermanagh College has been providing quality, flexible vocational and academic education for the people of Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Tyrone, Sligo, Leitrim and beyond since 1907.  In August of 2007, Fermanagh College merged with East Tyrone College and Omagh College to form South West College with the facilities offered being improved and expanded upon as the merger took place.  To facilitate the delivery of Further Education, Higher Education, Skills Training and a post secondary Vocational Enhancement Programme the college planned the construction of a new property at the site of their existing skills centre at Killyhevlin, Enniskillen and a new sports centre with associated carparking at Fairview, Enniskillen.

The scheme was delivered as a design and build project under the guidance of the Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) by Tracey Brothers with Albert Fry Associates providing full structural and civil engineering design services.  A BREEAM rating of “very good” was achieved.
