Newry Community Treatment & Care Centre

Albert Fry Associates are proud to be appointed by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust as Civil and Structural Engineering consultants for their new state-of-the-art £30m Community Treatment and Care Centre at Abbey Way, Newry. The site, located adjacent to a listed building, lies between a Landscape Policy Area and a Conservation Area. The building will accommodate 6 GP practices, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, adult and children’s mental health services, pharmacy, allied health services and administration for outreach services.

This community treatment and care centre will underpin SHSCT’s vision for future health provision in the Newry and Mourne area, bringing together a wide range of services which are currently delivered by around 600 staff across 13 sites.
